About Us
MISSION & VISION
The mission of Mighty Goat Health Education Center is to provide a place where K-12 students and people with developmental delays/disabilities can learn about healthy behaviors in a fun and animal-friendly environment outside of the traditional classroom.
By engaging in conversations about how Mighty Goat’s animals stay healthy and interact, visitors learn the importance of good nutrition and dental health, how the body works and even the importance of healthy friendships.

Founded with our barn, donkeys, and goats.
2023
Received nonprofit status.
August 2023
CUP granted in August 2023.
December 2023
Hosted our first students in December 2023.

Full operational readiness achieved by mid-2024.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Mighty Goat Health Education Center, we believe that health education should be joyful, experiential, and rooted in inquiry. We value learning that happens beyond traditional classroom walls, where curiosity, nature, and compassion meet. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that meaningful conversations about health begin when children can see, touch, and relate to the world around them.
Guided by the Socratic method, our health scholars, students from nursing, dental hygiene, communication, education, and environmental disciplines, engage K–12 learners through dialogue that connects academic health standards with real-world understanding. The presence of our “goat scholars” and other animal partners fosters empathy, enhances memory, and helps children link animal wellness to their own well-being.
We uphold the belief that health is a shared responsibility between individuals, communities, and the environment. By nurturing curiosity, kindness, and respect for all living beings, we aim to cultivate healthier generations, one conversation, one goat, and one smile at a time.
